Picnic at the overlook of the West Fork of the White River starring onto the the Winthrop glacier, the Burroughs Mountains And Columbia Crest! Meander through the largest meadow in the Park at over 2 miles long and over a half mile wide. In June the flowers should be in full bloom too!
Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 4 h 15 min to complete. This is a popular trail for backpacking, hiking, and running, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The best times to visit this trail are June through September.
