About the event
OVERNIGHT Backpacking this 14.3-mile out-and-back trail near Snoqualmie Pass, is generally considered a challenging route, we will take an average of 4 or 5 hours each day to complete it at a leisurely pace. It is a very popular area for backpacking, camping, and hiking, so we'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are June through October.

This is a popular section of the Pacific Crest Trail that follows along the Kendall Katwalk, which is a section of the trail on the side of cliff, with dramatic drop offs and views. On a clear day, you will have great views of Mt. Rainer, Snoqualmie Ski area, peaks, and ranges all around. The trail is well-maintained and easy to follow. The lake at the end is the ideal spot for us to make camp for our overnight backpacking trip.
