This 3.1-mile out-and-back trail near Paradise, Washington is generally considered a challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 24 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking and running, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are June through September.
Plummer Peak is a great alternative to Pinnacle Peak, and is a maintained trail that doesn't require any scrambling. Follow the Pinnacle Peak Trail to the Pinnacle Saddle. From here the trail is a little exposed, to be careful if you are afraid of heights. From there continue on to the summit of Plummer Peak. Enjoy beautiful panoramic views of Mount Rainier and the surrounding mountains.
