About the event
We start from the Alpental Ski Area and leading up to the incredible Snow Lake, this is one of the most popular hikes in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. The route starts by climbing alongside the South Fork Snoqualmie River with Snoqualmie Mountain on your right. You’ll pass by numerous waterfalls and follow steep switchbacks on your way up to the destination.
Just before reaching the 2 mile mark of your trip you’ll come to the Source Lake Overlook Trail junction. From there we will to follow the route up to the shore of Snow Lake, turn north here and continue along the route shown. At the top, you’ll have incredible views of Snow Lake and Chair Peak in the background.
From there we will continue to the picturesque Emerald Lake before descending to Wildcat Lake where we will make camp.
