About the event
We will head out on this 3.2-mile out-and-back trail near Ashford , Washington. Generally considered a challenging route, it takes an average of 3 hours to complete. The views from the park are breath taking! The old Lookout has an amazing unobstructed view of Mt Rainier.
***Access NF Road 84 (- 14 miles) from Hwy 706 after Ashford, then turn right on NF Road 8440 the last 2.6 miles to the trail head. GRAVEL ROAD
Depart trailhead at 10AM and plan for 4 hours. (includes stoping at the top for lunch/snack) Trail is 3.2 miles with 1335' of elevation.***
